RobSinclair
Make for sure Jay. Maybe we could try it together. We can talk at the meeting tonight. So my lift kit took forever to get here. It was supposed to arrive last wednesday... But it didn't. It arrived on Thursday! Whats that in your hand Mr Postman?!? A gift from America? yes Please! The dis-assembly began. Parts look good! Went together pretty easy! New rubber would really finish the look nicely. These old 30.5" coopers would be ok for winter....but thats about it. What if we tried to fit these 33.5" Toyo Open Country M/T! Some small modifications required. I'm starting to get excited. Oh yes! Wow

sar4x4
Yesterday I had the toe-in set on my rig, the Dana 60 axle that came from the '86 Military truck. And centred the steering wheel! It's great!

SQRLPWR
Had a productive day today. 1.Re-installed my Knock Sensor relocation using a guide for a '99 Pathy All seems to be good now :-) 2.Seafoamed the intake (again) but this time using the Evap port and left it to soak for a couple of hours. This seems to have fixed my P0420 and P0430 codes. I'm assuming the soaking cleaned the crap off um, something LOL.....fingers crossed! I did notice my manifolds are totally shot and leaking really badly, so the headers are still going on when they arrive. 3.Installed an antenna spring from Steve's in Halifax...15 bucks, thank you very much :-)

oniondip
Finally diagnosed my 4x4 issue. 100% know what it is and I have the correct parts to fix it! The hubs will be installed soon. How I found out; heading to my buddies land to shoot the 12ga and went up a 'challenging' hill. Aka a steep gravel hill and 4x4 wasn't engaging at all. Got my buddy to look at front and he said axle was spinning. Maybe I could leave the broken hub and just lock the front? Haha
Potato Digger
Wired and new harness to my trailer hitch since the old one was capoot. Bought brake line, fittings, and flare kit to get the brakes working on the M37 but got half way home and figured out I forgot to get a pipe cutter :brain-fart: . Have to pick one up tomorrow. backwoodsxj
2x4??? Xjs use 2x6 and even that doesn't stick out much 2x4 works fine too it depends on which method you use to install. We used 1 1/2 " angle as well and the rail lays on that and allows for adjustment of how much sticks out by.Angle gets welded to inner rocker area and rail lays on that and attaches to door sill.We took pics and I'll post when its done.We got into the beer mid day and ended up not getting as much done you know how that goes.... RobSinclair the tire/rim combo looks owesome what a transformation! You should be pleased and probably can't wait to wheel it some! Nice job! autumnwalker
Should get an alignment if you changed any suspention parts/set up 100% agree, but you should wait a couple days for things to settle and for any re-adjustment you need to make; especially with torsion bars!
