derekmac
Those tires look great! You'll be very impressed with how much easier it will be to get through the sticky stuff with those tires compared to your old street tires!
derekmac
I got tired of the chrome rims, so I Plasti Dipped mine. I've also installed new front u-joints, rear lower control arms and muffler. I have a 2" lift on the way, and also new shocks to put on it.

derekmac
Looking good Derek. I'm thinking of options for my ol'school slots...how difficult is it to PD? can you do it with tires still mounted? Thanks! It's really easy to apply, and the great thing is, if you don't like it, you can peel it right back off! The stuff is stupid expensive here though. The cheapest I've found it is around $20 a can, and it's only around $5 a can in the US. We had friends pick me up a couple of cans when they went to Maine, and I'm going to get more in the summer when we come home from Ontario. would like to go but we've got visitors, so it's gonna take some skilled negotiation to get a pass....I'll give it my best shot ;-) are you going ? Just tell her you're going out to get some milk, then when you get back tell her there was construction and you got tied up, and that's why the trucks dirty!
Cherokee96
Last week I cut out the drivers side floor in my XJ and was waiting for the power in the garage to be hooked up for my welder... Well it's hooked up now and I got side tracked and started tacking together a rear bumper I bought from Creepy (nsjc) last summer...

Cherokee96
more work to the bumper... The holes in the mounting plates are too small and too close to the edge to drill large enough to fit stock bolts in, also it is too tight to get to the backside to just go with a smaller bolt and nut through the existing holes.. i will make new plates tomorrow... i will likely sell this bumper and make a new one with hitch built in(:
