Scott did a fantastic job, and I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone that needs work done!! Here are some pics of the finished product, before and after paint. derekmac Posted August 17, 2014 Author Report Share Posted August 17, 2014 Well I made a mockup heat/water shield for my K&N filter today. It didn't turn out too bad, but there are some changes that I want to make when I go to make a better version of it. The biggest change will be the lid. It was an after thought, which is why it looks so bad. I made a cut out in the shield to route the factory "cold air" pipe from behind the grill. BlackPrintz Posted August 18, 2014 Report Share Posted August 18, 2014 When I put the K&N on, I used pipe insulation to create a better seal around the top of the box as well as where the tube comes through the side.
