Was bored at work, errr, I mean at lunch time I slapped together a holder for the tablet.  I have a mount at home that I "think" should work with what I made.

I see someone has their aircraft maintenance tech(?) course, by the build style..

did the pilot know?

I'm sure he'll find out!!! Lol

Now I just need to figure out how and where I want to mount it. I just did some tests, and have three options.

-Mount it to the top of the trim piece that surrounds the stereo.

-Mount it to the bottom of the trim piece the surroundings the stereo.

-Mount it to a mount on top of the dash.

I think I'll try the extra trim piece I have first, since I won't mind drilling holes in it.

Well I got it installed tonight.  Not happy with the wires, but not much I can really do.  I got the steering wheel controls all working, so I can adjust the volume and change tracks, which is pretty damn cool!

The mount is kinda meh, but it works.

  • 4 weeks later...

Today I changed both front hubs.  The passenger side was done in September for safety, but was shot now.  It was replaced under warranty though. :)  The drivers side wasn't too bad, but was starting to get some play in it.
