SQRLPWR
Trail development day was a blast! Eugene took us through some nice hilly overgrown trails...probably not suitable for a regular club run in their current muddy conditions...maybe in summer

sar4x4
Like the pics, but not sure why they don't show the rain and snow coming down for 1/2 the day! lol And, John and Jim came back Muddy Myra just for good measure. i hope we got some pics of the absolute slop fest we had in spots! Jawritch
Looks like you guys had a good time. The terrain looks pretty fun! I ended up having to drive my girlfriend to and from work. But managed to get out just up around Beaver Bank in between.
Jawritch
There was quite a bit more snow in Beaver Bank too.
SQRLPWR
wow, a lot more snow there!! The trail we ran was very challenging in the snowy rainy conditions. It wasn't very long, but the incline was steep, rocky, muddy, snowy and narrow in a few places. It'll make a wicked dry season side trail.
derekmac
I'm really bummed that I missed this today! We didn't get any snow in Elmsdale really, but there was quite a bit down driving by the airport.
Jawritch
Did you guys get the rest of the mud day 3 trail opened up? And I'm always up for a challenge, any weather bring it on haha
SQRLPWR
We got to the other side of those bushes where we stopped, then took a hard right, straight up the big hillside for a few hours LOL
Brunet-Hemi
Look's like it was a fun day I also wish I could of made it out. I'm excited to check out what you guys got accomplished.
SQRLPWR
I'm also curious to see what is left of the beginning of the big hill. The hill was steep, narrow and rocky. I was 1st up it, followed by Michael in his Vitara. John 'Bad Dog' was last, and apparently made some significant alterations to the hill LOL I wouldn't fancy trying that hill going down either. sar4x4
You could go down the hill if it was dry, likely. But wet like today, you'd slide off and require some serious winching!
sar4x4
Jay, would have seen Jim's pic of the bottom of the hill by now! What a transformation....
SQRLPWR
I'm adding this one to the trail list. So are you gonna officially name this trail Eugene? I know you said 'Short and Sweet', which I like I was also thinking 'Peters Peak' after Pikes Peak - it's your trail, up to you And for rating, I'm thinking that was a solid 4.0 - thoughts? sar4x4
lol I will think a bit more. Rating: It's a medium to high rating on a dry day, and as you state, ratings can change due to trail conditions. Name: I was also thinking Winch Hill, but that is too common... sar4x4
Maybe Triple S: Short, sweet, and Sassy!
SQRLPWR
I noticed the map is almost a perfect Triangle - 'Bermuda Triangle' since it could take ur rig, and with many ways out, u could get lost
SQRLPWR
" Bermuda Triangle It makes people disappear Bermuda Triangle Don't go too near But she Doesn't see my angle And she thinks I'm being dumb So Bermuda Triangle Here we come!
