sar4x4
Excellent! I hadn’t looked. We have a Amazon Prime membership... I’ll have to get me one or more of these.... Thanks!!!!
sar4x4
Driveway (small parking spot) was paved this week! Although not directly related to vehicle progress, it sure is nice to have it done. Been waiting since early May. Shed is expected to hit the next milestone in the next few days.... Fall is coming...
autumnwalker
I like a good paved driveway. Makes maintenance a lot easier ... less risk of rocks through windows with snow blowers / lawn mowers too.
sar4x4
Yup! Especially re the rocks. I whipper-snipped a rock through a window last summer... $$.

Yup ... in the old house we had a hill which was just overgrown; I'd say a good 50 feet from the house. I was going over it with the whipper snipper and later found a few rocks up on the deck! Luckily nothing hit glass.
sar4x4
Some milestones reached on the shed, etc. Later.....
sar4x4
Still busy with 'summer' home/cottage projects. Currently waiting on LED head- and fog- lights for J's 2014 Ford Escape. We'll see how they work out.. Currently waiting on the BackRack for the Ranger. It's supposedly scheduled for release at the end of the month.... And waiting for a release of Ford tow hooks for the rear of the Ranger. Friendly/knowledgeable parts chap at Fairley & Stevens says either when the 2021 Ford Ranger Tremor debuts in spring 2021, OR... when the Ford 3-Stages of off-road suspension and tire/wheels packages debut for the Ranger this fall, he might/should be able to source them. Hey, I might get stuck on a wet lawn somewhere! LOL
sar4x4
Noticed my John Deere is an E130. And switched the pathetic ‘headlights’ (1156 bulbs, commonly older automotive reverse lights) to LED 1156 bulbs. Just for fun! Left light in picture is original incandescent, right is LED. Both lights LED.

Good upgrade, I was thinking about adding a small led cube on the push bar of mine
sar4x4
Also switched both High- and Low- beam halogen headlights on the Escape to LEDs. Next, and last on the Escape, will be the fog lights. Drivers side only at that time. Halogen only. Yellow. LEDs Clear and bright!
sar4x4
A little more progress. One more fog light to go. Had to replace the battery (200k Km’s and 6 years old), new wipers front and back, new rear brakes. And had the winter tires on before the snow squall yesterday... (Accessing the battery is another story, it's not an '84 Full Size!)
autumnwalker
@sar4x4 I'm learning that you use the poop out of vehicles! The Rogue had a good number of kilometers on it too, didn't it?

Lights look good, it's the little things that make the difference

autumnwalker
Yeah! Really not a lot - average. I thought it had higher for some reason.
sar4x4
My bro’s 452k kms Cummins is in the garage for a minor repair. So the Scout is outside enjoying some warm sunshine! We closed the cottage for the winter yesterday, so work starts again shortly on the rigs! I sure missed the little jaunt the guys made through Renfrew yesterday!

sar4x4
I did try cards. They wouldn’t stay put. I would have had to lower the air pressure to insert them further. The breeze wasn’t helping at the time! Lol

sar4x4
My brother is using the car, while he replaces the Transfer Case in his truck. We’re driving an F150 while the Ranger is getting the dents fixed. Although it’s a 2020 4x4, it’s no Ranger Lariat with a Levelling kit!
