flibby Posted April 25, 2016 Report Share Posted April 25, 2016 Guys, Truck quit on me Saturday, apparently it is the cam position sensor which is part of the distributor?? I have one on my parts truck but before I tried removing it I wanted to ask if there is anything I need to be aware of. Is it just the one 12mm bolt that hold it in place??? Not sure about urs, but when you pull it, the rotor will turn on the gear, so but before you remove it make 110% sure you mark/record the installed position of the rotor for when you reinstall.
