I picked up the modified shift rails today and will get them finished this week.Everett ordered new seals for the 205 so we'll be able to do a final assembly by next weekend.Once the doubler is complete we'll make the driveshafts and install the exhaust. Then the floor can be put in and the seats mounted.A few hundred small things and she's ready for a test drive.

Have to take it apart to trim and the couple hours of work isn't worth a 1/2 lb gain in a rig that is going to weigh in north of 4500lbs.When we tear it down in the fall to transplant the running gear we'll trim in really nice and purdy .

Transplant the running gear???? already planing stage 2 lol

Worked on Everett's rig tonite as he has commitments for tomorrow night. We got the exhaust completed and I made a support bracket for the rear transfer case.Used the muffler that Everett won at Valley Crawl 2009(thanks CVO)and even made a snazzy turn down.Added some heat wrap in the tranny area and called it done.

Then I mounted the drivers seat and Everett tried it out .Gotta moved the orbital mount over a little but he says that it is quite comfy.

Everett rerouted the tranny lines and then moved the steering column mount over.

We've been working on Everett's rig alot but I haven't been posting any pictures(too busy/too lazy).Rads all installed and all the welding has been completed.Brakes are finished and steering ram brackets are done. All the seat belt tabs are in and Everett made the dash panel.I got some pics of the transfer case shifters that I'm working on.

Made this bracket on the rear of the transfer case to use as a pivot for the shifters. Then made these to go on the shift rails.

OK ,I thought it was funny when I was taking the pics.Anyway that is one of the shift linkage rods.Used a couple of 1 1/8" wrenchs as shifter handles.
