They are different than the older maintenance free joints, the seals are of doubled, and the outer part has hard plastic cover that "snaps" into place, also they have thrust bushing in the end of the caps, I installed the life series u joint in the front axles of the d60. Figured id try them. Supposed to have superior sealing to keep contaminants out. Iv always used serviceable joints so I could "purge" contaminants out of the joint.
