Umm, ahhh. Deb had appointments over downtown Dartmouth and Woodside way, so we took 'Scout' to the A&W cruise in.
IT WAS PACKED! I guess last week too! There were three spots just opened up in the main parking lot when we arrived just before 8. A buddy of mine drives a '51 and he got there at 5:20 and it was half full!
There was a white Zuke Samurai there, almst mint condition! Somewhat better than the Scout!
I'm going to go early some night..................
A Ledwidge Rally car was there, Car 1 from last year.

I'll surprise myself if I come, after all it is arguably the closest Tim's to me with a parking lot large enough for a few trucks!

I expect to be down around Bangor, Maine,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Need a little vacation from some family health issues. I'll be quiet on the site from time to time.

That scout is ******* awesome!!!
My Transformer as someone called it. Thinking too many projects ahead, I'd like to change the axle ratio. With that transmission, a 2:45:1 first gear, and the 3:54 axle ratio, and 31's, it is hard to chirp the tires. Some Dana 44 4:09s would be nice, and I could only do the rear end, I don't put her in 4x4!

Was a good coffee turn-out last night!

I'll probably only roll the sides up, and not take the whole truck top off. Another time I can take the whole soft top off, and another time put just the truck 'bikini' top on. So counting the hardtop, I have 4 distinct modes. Hard, full soft, bikini, and no top at all. With the full soft top I can roll up the sides safari style.

Yes it is Mitch, see you all there! We will be partially top off.
Truck only please! :-)

:smiley-dance005: I'm coming, and if warm with the 'top down'!
And we'll show you where the other Forest Hills Parkway Timmie's is later for another night!

The tuners were in a bunch and the classics in another bunch. With an average age difference of probably 35+ years! No 'tunerz' came to see the Scout. And vice versa I suppose.

Didn't notice if there were trucks at Tim's in Woodside, I was across the street with the Classic and Tuner cars. Had a blast, my truck was fresh meat, never been there before, and therefore very popular!
Even though some thought it was a Bronco! Blasphemy!

If the weather forecast holds for next week I vote for an outside Coffee Night (meeting?) on Thursday and I *******' promise I'm bringing the soft top!

Lots of vehicles hang at Forest Hills. Classics, tuners, 4x4s, everything!

Oh no, Devin may suggest Truro............ Great to hear it was well attended! The club might be going through a growth spurt!

Might be snowing, put 'er in 4x4!

My usual whine, about too wet and Scout not running yet! :-)

I'm waiting for the nice weather and bring the Scout,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

I've worked late three nights this week. Fiscal Year end! Think I might work on a truck tonight................
Robbie: Sounds like you are still with Eastern Shore. If you decide to change to Halifax, you will never have any problems reaching 200 hours!
It is all by choice, but I'm at 70 hours already this year!

I'm planning on coming! (Or I could work on the Scout in the little (always heated) garage. The big garage (detached, only heated when required) flooded on Sunday and froze... my bro says to stay out of it for a few days until he figures out how to tackle cleaning it! Concrete floor, no damage, just 1" of ice!)
I will bring some club stuff for you Tom, if you are the VP/Pres/Secretary or whatever! lol
And I'd like to get into a little discussion about some of the summer events, routes, venues, etc. (Not the Valley one, stuff I'm working on.) James has something for me as well.

I'll be out of town, taking my father to an appointment. He can't drive any more.

wow, I'm surprised the ol' girl is getting some love now the Scout is on the scene :)
I'm a trollop, several gals on the go at once! The Suburban is the primary concern right now, the Scout will go dormant until the spring warmer weather comes back! The Sub is for wheelin'!

If we were all prepped and prepared, we could bring our 'expedition" prepped' vehicles out for a show and tell!" But I'll likely be still packing!
That may be something we strive to do somewhere along the way? Or arrange better for another year?
Maybe I'll drop out with Scout with the bikini top on. Been driving it short distances and topping up the anti-freeze afterwards.
