FYI - Provincial state of emergency can only span two weeks at a time and require extension / renewal to go for another two weeks.

Thanks for the clarification/info.  I didn't know that!

  2. It's a 2019, and iirc it's Hot/Red Pepper.  This colour is not available for 2020, otherwise I would have custom ordered a 2020 vehicle with the accessory package(s) I wanted.  There are/were several trucks this colour on the lots around, but few-to-none even close to having the packages I wanted.  As well, I didn't get to assess one or more packages on any vehicle in any lot, so I would have been ordering blind on some of those!

But I'm REALLY REALLY HAPPY with my decision, the packages it came with I'm happy with, and I've tweaked some things.

One example:  I wanted a factory spray-in bed liner.  This truck came with a 12v port in the bed, with a drop-in liner.  The factory doesn't offer the 12v port with the spray-in liner.  I gave the dealer the drop-in liner and they had a spray-in liner installed, they just taped off the 12v port.   No charge to me.  So now I have the best of both worlds.....

  3. Did some work on the Scout on the weekend.  Cut the 'Show Bar' (as International called it) some more so that the back seat will fold properly.  Haven't re-checked function yet.

Painted half of the Grille Guard for the Scout.  Have to flip it to paint the other half.  Had hoped to do it today, but that didn't work out.

And received some gaskets from 'Super Scout Specialists', in the mail.  Simple.  Now the side marker light lenses and housings are all fixed up properly and ready for re-installation.

Had the headlights re-aimed on the Ranger.  The Levelling Kit Installation Instructions did not mention re-aiming the headlights.  (Shake head...)  They were pointing skyward! They are good now!

Also had the first maintenance performed on the Ranger.  Good to keep on truckin'!  Waiting impatiently for the BackRack, red tow hooks, hmm..

  4. Oh my, even a 'stock doable' run will likely be interesting in these snow-melt conditions!  I may just show up, and see if there is a ride available.  I don't plan on wheelin' the Ranger (yet).

The Burb is still on hiatus.  But with this spring weather, some wrenchin' is happening!

  5. Levelling kit installed.  I LOVE LOVE  it.

I don’t really have a before and after pic taken in the same location, but I will post pics!  I have one parked next to a ‘One Fiddy’.

I have to check the aim of my headlights. They said they were going to do it but nothing is mentioned on the work order.  And they certainly weren’t too low last night...

They put the new shocks on the back that came with the kit.  I will investigate, but I may switch those back to the original FX4 ones.  The FX4 ones look better and are probably a better shock anyway.  I don’t know why new ones were included..

    Spring is here!!!

Score! You're going to have Ford install it vs. DIY?

Yes.  They have better tools and a better garage.  And it’s a lease.

i only tear down my old sh*t when i can afford (time wise) to leave it unfinished for days/weeks/months even!

  7. BTW spent several hours there yesterday (and didn't even have to miss watching the Daytona 500, lol).  Making lots of progress, though not always readily visible!

I will post a couple pics now and again.

I even had lots of 2020 calendars.  So I turned the one from Super Scout Specialists into my Scout stuff log.  (That's my OCD Paul! lol)

    Pics to follow!

Drool! lol  Though I am not a big fan of the SS2.  However, I've made a 'few' models in my younger years!  I liked the ERTL(?) brand, quite difficult at times!
