so i'm getting aftermarket UCA. who here has them on their toyotas?

I'm looking at 3 different sets right now

Light Racing is the cheapest of the 3, both in price and quality. it doesnt have the nice tubular uniball joint that Icon and Total Chaos have.

Icon, enough said, we all know its good!

I have no experience firsthand but loads of research on these..

Do you have your heart set on a uniball? Typically they would be more useful with a desert racing style long travel suspension not too mention they require much more maintenance and will also corrode fast.

My suggestion and probably what I will end up with is the camburg uca with a quality ball joint... Just my .02$

Check it out, cross reference the fj board as I am not quoting any of that info I only offer advice as we share the same front suspension.

If you do absolutely want a uniball then also check camburg as they have the largrst size and strongest uniball available a 1 1/4" uniball compared to total chaos' 1" uniball...

Thanks Sam, i knew there was one brand I was forgetting, but couldnt put my finger on it.

they dont use a uniball though, we have to reuse an oem balljoint, aftermarket balljoints might not fit because of tolerances.

I'm gonna think bout it today.

yeah i looked at getting my lift kit from them. They only have the toytec ultimate kit, 1600$ plus tax and shipping. a little more than i was hoping to pay. i ended up spending 1400$ on the lift kit, and its gonna cost me about 1000$ for UCA including shipping and customs

i decided to go with the All-Pro Offroad UCAs with 1.25" uniball joints. i bought them on ebay instead of their website, for some reason it was 50$ cheaper and shipping was 35$ cheaper as well.
