TomWood
So we are upgrading our camper, and I just was curious what everyone is doing for camping this year? We have a seasonal lot at Fox Mountain and are loving it. https://www.keystonerv.com/product/arcadia/premium-fifth-wheels/floorplans/3660RL That is our new rig, will be delivered to our lot and the current one taken back on trade. We are some excited.

sar4x4
We have a 37’ Park Model. Parked permanently with NS power, a drilled well, full septic, external 15 gallon hot water heater, swapped-in 15 cu. ft. fridge, etc. etc. 35’ attached patio deck, partly covered with a fully insulated 12’ x 14’ sun room. Two sheds, one an Olde Hickory. 42” deck John Deere. 100m to the Northumberland Strait beach. (Warm water). We can see it, although obstructed. 3 acres of mowing and lumbering and bonfires… Oh, and the entire trailer/sun room/deck is covered by a large, peaked, metal roofed, post-below-frost canopy. And a big not-quite-Big Stop sized lawn pole and flag.
sar4x4
And don’t think we are ‘lucky’. Both previously married and both now retired, we have weathered A LOT in our lifetimes. And our permanent home is not a $400+k detached multi-story home. But we luv it all! Our next goal once completing our current home and cottage upgrades is finish resurrecting the Scout and Burb.
autumnwalker
Sounds like a great spot @sar4x4! Lots and lots of work. Is it on property you own? Sounds like it vs. a campground!
TomWood
Sounds like an absolutely wicked spot @sar4x4! You dont get to take it with you so may as well enjoy everything now. We are feeling that 100 percent, and plan to enjoy everything we can. The end game is in a few years have the truck to pull the trailer and half the year up here the other half down south. TomWood
Fair enough using end game was a bit misleading.
