Umm, wow.  Good luck!

MAYBE, you just need to wheel larger trails.  I always have.

Guess you don't want to buy a Suburban then?

Or how about an IH Scout II?

Ahh, sorry, not for sale yet!

I hope we don't lose you to the Jeep - side, lol.

Who knows, I don't have anything in mind tbh.

I do love the old truck, and that's the problem. I wasn't able to run the trail at the summer event on sat because it wasn't full size friendly. I could have run it but it was uber tight and would have caused some bodywork damage...and that's the problem, I can't bring myself to do it. So, I need something sized between the sami and the truck, that i can have fun with.

Unexpected! I hate to say it ... but it's hard to beat a JK. It's bigger than the Sammy, smaller than the Ferd. SFA. Lots of options available for every piece of it.

If you want (or don't care about) IFS I'd wheel another H3 every day of the week. That thing worked really good for me. 35's with nothing more than a torsion bar crank in the front. If you can find an "Adventure" model they are factory locked front and rear. Alphas are v8's (and ******* expensive).

At this point I'm in no rush, and open to whatever cool comes my way once the truck is gone. But it has to be a bit bigger than a Sami, has to be simple and lightweight, good (ish) on gas, so something pre TJ with a tub YJ/CJ, Trackers and 1/4 ton Trucks

I know of a unique Nissan truck just begging to be built too.

So a few possibilities.

Sooo, any leads on a new rig?  🤔

I had to kiss a LOT of dart frogs to find kermit, but yeah it sold quicker than I thought it would. Buddy rocked up in a 1986 F150, so it's gone to someone who knows what it is and appreciates them.

I'm buying Jeff's rig tomorrow;

1998 tracker
2.3l suzuki aerio motor 160hp
Front trail gear rock Assault axle with chromoly axles, trail gear 5.29 diff with arb locker
Rear stock toyota axle with 5.29 gears and arb locker
Trail tough trail slayer sas kit
Arb twin compressor with 1 Gallon viair tank
4.24 geared transfer case with twin stick and front and rear trail tough slip yoke eliminators
Custom front/rear double cardan driveshafts
Trail tough 3 speed auto custom adapter
Newly rebuilt 3 speed automatic transmission ($2500) Rick Roods transmission
35x12.50 Goodyear mtr's
10k synthetic winch
Low range seat brackets and Corbeau seats
Full bedlined tub inside/out
Front and rear custom bumpers

I often considered painting the Burb ‘Burnt Orange’.  But that is too close to the SAR orange colour.  So I’ve stuck with ‘Old Caterpillar Yellow’.

Nice choice you have there! 🤪👍
