Nightpath
Hi I bought a 2007 Jeep Liberty and the high pressure hydraulic line on the rack and pinion steering broke. It has an odd end to it and I cannot find anybody locally that can make one for me around Greenwood Middleton or wherever else. Does anybody here know who I could get to build one for me? Brunet-Hemi
Should be able to get one from the dealer probably pretty pricey. You could try Kenny U-pull. Might get lucky there. The only places I know after that are in Halifax. I wentto Strictly Hydraulics and they made me up a line for Dakota power steering.
82Yota
There's a couple different versions of high pressure power steering lines for those jeeps, get me a part number and I'll search my inventory
Powerram
Where is the break in the line? If it is not close to the fitting, just cut, flare and piece a new line in the middle leaving your factory ends
Nightpath
I checked at the dealership...2 of them. For the earlier KJ you can buy but it changed in 2006 for 2 years. I even called Cardone with no luck. I was directed towards a place in Dartmouth called Strictly Hydraulics. They made the piece for me but it's not exact and charged me $30 more than the quote. Kind of pissed but they guaranteed me it will work. Didn't have time to argue with the storm rolling in. Got my fingers crossed.
