Body and frame are near perfect, engine needs head gasket so I bought a top end gasket kit ($82). After that there are a couple spots to clean up the body work then it should be road ready. Needs a couple of seatbelts as well.

After a couple years and some figuring out the weak spots it will be V8 swapped and the summer truck. Planning for a carbed SBC and try to get a good rearend for it.

try to find a rear from an 89 or 90 Isuzu Trooper , 4.56 ratio , disc brakes , 26 spline , ring gear bigger than a Toy or dana 44  . oh , and same bolt pattern as you now have

Nice!  Although would 4.56 be too low for a planned SBC? lol

So With the help of Paul we started tearing into the engine. Only to find three of the four cylinders need honing.

Plan now is to find a V8 and get it setup with some more power. I am leaning hard to making it a 4x4 as well so it will be an interesting project.
