82Yota Posted September 8, 2017 Report Share Posted September 8, 2017 So a mechanic friend bought this with hope of flipping it but after finally realizing that it does infact need a trans were just gonna sell it and get rid of it. It is still safetied till Oct but should be towed due to it kicking into limpmode after hitting 3rd. Valve body in the trans was changed but didn't fix the problem. Yeah it would make a great parts vehicle for someone with a Libby but could be put back on the road.
