GBtheWK
Hello everyone I've had my 2008 grand cherokee diesel for a few months now I have done some pretty mild off roading on my own and having just lifted my rig i have the offroading / modding bug pretty bad so I'm looking to getting into some more difficult and fun trails with other rigs and I think this is the best place to start . - Liam Moore. The running boards are coming off soon ,skid plates are in the works ,and bigger tires eventually .
SQRLPWR
Welcome to Backcountry, that's a nice comfy looking rig you have there. There's been a few Grands out with us, and they do pretty well. Keep your eyes open for the weekly coffee night and monthly club runs. ;-)

GBtheWK
Thanks guys , it has done very well on any of the light stuff I dare to do by my self . I'm planning on getting skid plates to protect the engine and diesel particulate filter befor I wheel it too hard .
SQRLPWR
Skids are are great idea (he says with no skids). I cracked the oil pan on my 1st rig on my 1st off-road adventure, in a water hole (hidden rock plus too much gas)....THAT was an expensive & fun day out LOL
sar4x4
Ahh, there's an efficiency limit to everything. Vehicle height to rock slider length perhaps. You probably don't need them Jay! Lol
