Do I need a truck?

So I have access to several trucks, and trailers, yet sometimes I just use the tool I have at hand.

650 lbs.  Load 1. Yesterday.

She's sagged only 2-3 inches.

Had a bunch of other crap in the car at the same time.  House maintenance.

Unloaded last night.  There's another 500 lb load in the car today.  I'll unload it tonight and one more load tomorrow.

Looking at that makes my Back hurt, carrying the stones while hunched over the bumper and under the hatch to carry out.

Yes, and I try to be VERY careful.  I slide them to the edge, lift with the legs, etc.  And for really big stuff, like moving my clothes dryer with underneath pedestal drawer down 4 steps, I use lots of cribbing/blocking and ramps and move things only inches at a time, and usually bear well under 100 lbs  at a time.  I sometimes wonder if that may be even too much for a spinal disc.

I do less and less less as I get older, just in case the skeleton won't take the weight even if the muscles do!

I'm learning this concept, working the oil rigs has sure took its toll, now I'm not working the rigs I can feel it. Wrists , ankles and now the back. I'm starting to learn when to back off , there was a time when I grabbed a complete 350 engine minus the intake and carried it from the back of my truck and set it on the bench. Yes I know, stupid....

I wouldn't even consider wrapping my arms around it now, but my arms are smaller than they used to be too lol.

Have to take care of yourself, ya only get one chance at it .
