Powerram
What do you guys and gals use to lube your winch cables? The manufacturing process has lube applied but is minimal and will dry out I'm picky when it comes to maintaining my winch cables, IV even been asked if this is the first time my winch has been used on a recovery because the cable is neatly wound and not rusty or corroded. I like to use a chain /cable lube with penetrating propertys and when it dries or cures has a waxy residue to prevent dirt and dust attraction. I'm not partial to one brand or another , as long as it has those properties I'm good. The work trucks get lubed but with what ever we have in the shop. And that is fine for the application. Gives protection against the salt and slush
SQRLPWR
I use Fluidfim on mine. It seems to help with the line icing over. IDK how it compares with other products tho.
sar4x4
I've never used anything. However it doesn't see heavy use.
derekmac
I sprayed mine down with LPS 1, which is a greaseless lube.

I would imagine it's less messy than Fluidfilm - Is it like a graphite based lube?

This one's not, but I do have graphite based stuff too.
