simplywinter
Hi Guys, In a but of a bind. Trying to find a local supplier in NS that sells m8/1.25 x 40mm button head cap bolts that are hardened (iron oxide not stainless). My issue is my differential housing threads are starting to pull out, looks like it must have been leaking and someone over-tightened them. Has anyone bought these locally? I can order them from a guy in the valley for a great price, but they will be several weeks out. Worst case il drill and tap them I suppose. sar4x4
Try Transworld or Action Fasteners perhaps. Both good sources.

sar4x4
Oops, I think it's Fastenal not Action, and both are closed until Monday I believe. Fastenal has two stores I think as well.

simplywinter
Update: Transworld had them, picked them up today. edit: Got back to the valley, and realized when I looked what what I got from transword, one stud is the wrong size and 4 nuts are the wrong size. Thankfully, I picked up 20 of everything, so I can still put it back together. Was going to give the other set to a friend for his truck.
