Test Run

Last night I fitted the stock Dakota with 35 inch tires and no lift.  Also helped my buddie finish button up  his TJ from stroking it to 4.5l from the 4.0.

We decided to test run both rigs last night . was a success, his jeep worked better than expected with loads of torque, no need for rpm, just grab the next gear.

The dakota worked well also, the plow gear doesn't dig into obstacles with careful navigation. Still not impressed with the 4.7. , no bottom end torque, but will turn em up if needed with some rpm applied. Just have to get used to that I guess. Overall, worked good, got to pull the j3ep a couple of times, but that was related to my tires. Tried an easy local trail that is difficult with the snow that is down. Had a good time. Then did backroad tour and went home. No pics.
