SQRLPWR
Started tearing down the hubs to get to the u-joints, and I've hit a snag. Powerram
What part is it sticking to. If it is sticking to the stub, move it towards the outside as mucha as possible and sack the end of the stub with a hammer
Powerram
Just beat it till it comes out. If ya have to, snap some visegrips to it and give her a yank. Don't worry about busting the locking hub part it will come with some force, looks like ya got both snap rings out, screw the putter lockout part back on and wedge a screwdriver between iron hub and lockout. It will come

SQRLPWR
Thanks, it's really hard to see what it's stuck on. I'll give that a try. I got the other side off no problem...well, had to drill out the rotted out Allen bolt heads. Weird thing is, the side I got off had no spring. sar4x4
Missing pieces in hubs is par for the course Jay. I've put things together incorrectly more than once myself.....
sar4x4
And it's not 'stuck' on anything, just friction! Ya gotta wait overnight and then try again! Like writing code in the old days at 'Uni'. Lol
SQRLPWR
Worked out how to get the stuck axle mechanism out - the end of hub was slightly bent and had a flat spot on the lip which was preventing the mechanism from sliding out.
