Recover from a Recovery?

Reason one you have proper tow points and not just to a bumper. I figured the rope would give out first. Either way this is why you don't stand beside a recovery attempt.

This is the # 1 reason, NOT to jerk hard when doing a recovery. Your applying double to triple the force. Nothing to do with the rope because most a designed to handle 4X + what the vech weighs. Mines good for 27,000lbs. Proper tow points, most are only rated for 10,000lbs ( that use 2 - 1/2" bolts ) Even custom bumpers with D rings or Hitch prolly would have done the same, if not then, sooner or later.
