Eastcoastcam
Not speaking so much as writing. It amazes me that a person can grow up able to speak, and read well ...but can barely spell their own name

Roadtripper
I moved here in 1989 and 20 minutes ago met someone new and within a couple of minutes was asked "So where on the Rock are ya from?" I still sound like I just got off the boat, both in accent and conjugation, and would not change it for the world. I write a standard English, but would not ever be accused of speaking anything approaching a standard English. I said "Newfies" as it is the linguistic minority to which I belong. game on. Over to you.
