Correction, the u joints are fine, but the ball and socket thing in the double cardan bit the dust. At least I can do the Pipeline in 2wd.

SQRLPWR
After struggling with a near flat battery over the last few days, I was thinking my battery was goosed....then I noticed the -ve terminal was cracked and not tight on the battery post. So, I've replaced the old copper terminal with a heavy duty terminal. Hopefully over the next few runs the battery will take a charge :)
SQRLPWR
Replaced my cracked and smashed halogen spot lights with slightly beefier & bigger LED versions. They also run very cool, so there should be issues with heat shock when entering water. The old lights came on automatically using a relay when the full beam was turned on. However, these lights are insanely bright. I actually had an oh-ish moment when I turned them on for the first time, so I can't be driving around with them on all the time. I'll need to wire a dashboard switch. TomWood
If they are only on during Dazzle than you should be fine when you dip the lights. However a dash switch is always good :)
SQRLPWR
they're wired to the dipped...I'll need to fix that ;)

sar4x4
I know another Brit, a vegetarian, that also eats bacon. I know, she isn't really a vege then! Oh, you know her also Jay. Her initial is pronounced 'Jay'. Here is a couple teaser pics, I have more, but of course I'll never get to posting them! Also painted the inside edges of the black aftermarket fenders, and the edges of the originally factory green hood. My helper, breathing too many fumes. Drying! Door jambs. Note the blue front doors (from another truck), and the factory green rear doors. I took the door panels off because I wanted to take the outside door handle, and ended up unbolting the latch mechanisms to do so, and also I am changing the window felts, and yada yada yuda, one thing leads to another! sar4x4
I sprayed it a few years ago, and rolled it this time. For me, rolling on alkyd enamel rust paint is the way to go. I like the 'orange peel' finish, and I can touch it up anytime!
