Eastcoastcam
Them Goodyears from the Cherokee Chief? You will like them tires excellant for wheeling! Yup, and yes Scott, you will like those tires. Better start collecting axles now. Youkre gonna need them with the front locker too !!
97 cherokee
Yeah I'm not sure about the locker, these tires are pretty heavy compared to the 31s that came off so if it starts breaking them its going to come out
Eastcoastcam
You should be ok. Darren (BackwoodsXJ) has 33s and locked front and rear for the last 2 seasons, and I don't think he's broke one yet. Besides... you don't drive like the 'Chief or Crews, so if you take it easy you will be fine!

autumnwalker
Scott's new tires look much better on his Heep! I changed my inner axle CV boot last night on the driver's side... I had a small tear in it (self inflicted) and figured I'd change the boot before I ate the CV joint.

autumnwalker
Truck looks awesome with the 33's Scott! I pulled my skid plates off today to fix the bend in the rear plate which was vibrating off my exhaust pipe. I painted the cross members while I was at it. Nice and shiny now. autumnwalker
...until the next rocky encounters ! Yup! Actually, the cross members I painted are covered by the skids... so they will be alright for the most part.
Eastcoastcam
At least the skid plates did their job, so your exhaust wasn't squished or ripped off by the rock(s). Plateing them in is a great idea, making it less likely to get hooked on something, making recovery possibly difficult and some major carnage should it hook up on something.
