SQRLPWR
got the paint and deck of cards out and painted 2 of my rims the finish is awful as it's too cold for the paint, but I do prefer the colour I just need to do the other side now....or roll with 2 black & 2 silver Right side Left side
autumnwalker
The black looks SO much better. Good job.
SQRLPWR
Thanks. It was nice to have some bling for a while, but black suits it better for sure I'm hoping that ridiculous backspacing isnt gonna cause me rubbing problems in the rear. I already had to remove the front plastics.
TRUXterra
I have another hub option for you Jay. Drive flanges. They make your front end 100% engaged, it suck for mileage as the front end is always turning, however, they keep a solid lock on the front end while off road. If you're interested, you can have them. I found them in the basement today while doing some cleaning. They're from my 96 Pathy, that I haven't owned for almost 5 years and have been on a shelf for 12 years...have I ever mentioned I'm a pack rat? SQRLPWR
Isn't that essentially what I have; auto locked in 4wd, then big reverse maneuver to unlock to free wheel in 2wd? I have heard these auto locking hubs are a weak point tho. I never look a gift house in the mouth, so if you're looking to free up some shelf space, I'll gratefully take them :) thank you sir Presumably theyre a straight swap? Eastcoastcam
Yesterday I completely unspooled my winch cable and respooled it onto the drum. Looks now like it has never been used B). No need to worry about Iannick's (Flipflopp's) OCD if he sees it spooled up all messy :P !!

sar4x4
Skill testing question: Anyone recognize where the first two pictures were taken? I wasn't there this year, but I bet His and Hers on Half Moon, summer event?
sar4x4
Oh, you want to make it look like this... :) ; instead of this... Good one James! I was thinking he wanted the Turbo Diesel! :ninja:
72LandRover88
I wasn't there this year, but I bet His and Hers on Half Moon, summer event? Nope. Hint: you are in the proper geographical area and the suburban wouldn't fit. Not interested in the turbo diesel but I am heading to CT later this month to pick up to 2.5L N/A diesels out of late 80's/early 90's Defenders! Eastcoastcam
For location I want to say either Sweetland or Tom's botched TJ's run.
e36m3
not Tom's botched TJ's run, i dont recognize the spot. the bumper would look sweet and is a super easy to fabricate design too
72LandRover88
no and no. Another hint: geographically speaking, it is somewhere between RobSinclair's guess and sar4x4's guess. Not a backcountry spot but there are some Jeep folks out there who should know it. And yes, the bumper is a straight forward fab job. Just a matter of doing it! Also, it would need to be galvanized so I need to get a batch of things ready to go to the galvanizer's at the same time (bulkhead, breakfast and bumper would be awesome but a bit of work!) Eastcoastcam
Then it must be one of Cranfield's Farm's trails (Tia's Trail, possibly?), as you roving gypsies have an annual pilgrimage there

oniondip
Rear locker has been reinstalled.. Warranty part came with a new cross pin, which I ordered a hardened cross pin not knowing it did. So I have a hardened cross pin for a ford 8.8 if anyone needs one.
