autumnwalker
Check out this new offering from Sony which intends to take a run at GoPro and Contour. http://store.sony.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/CategoryDisplay?catalogId=10551&storeId=10151&langId=-1&identifier=S_Sony_Action_Cam It'd be fun to have a couple of these on the rig to film the action on the trails. Don't have to worry about shock or water!

guymacdonald
I'd like to have one in a gimble setup like a boat compass. that way it would show the actual angle of hills and off camber stuff

autumnwalker
MotoGP has a camera they started testing last season - it's mounted on a gyroscope so it always stays level with the ground, but really shows you the lean angle of the bikes when they are way over. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bOEfR2KNYDU Keep watching after the initial setup shots and it'll get into a few action shots of the camera on the bike. This is just after he broke his ankles in a race... something like that anyway, he was hobbling around on crutches for awhile.
