autumnwalker Posted March 22, 2012 Report Share Posted March 22, 2012 Trail Run Rules (April 2, 2012):Vehicles must be registered and insured 4x4 vehicles in good, working condition.Must have full size spare.Minimum one tow point on front and one tow point on rear of vehicle. Suggest that you have a recovery strap as well, to suit your vehicle.The use of alcohol or illicit drugs prior to or during club events is strictly forbidden.The use of a vehicle on a trail or during an event that the Club deems to be illegal, or is not properly equipped, or becomes unsafe is grounds to exclude the vehicle from that event.For safety and enjoyment of all during trail run or events, participants must comply with Club Representatives conducting the event.Must be careful not to spin rocks on vehicle following you.Keep person behind you in mirror and if not seen then stop as person may need assistance. Proceed when he or she catches up. When following a vehicle give him or her space and keep a safe distance, wait till he or she is through the spot, hole, or section that may require him or her to back up, etc.Members are to adhere to Tread Lightly guidelines during club events.Do not leave your papers or cups or garbage in the woods; take it with you.During an event all members must be accounted for at the end of the day; no one left in the woods.Suggested Guidelines (April 2, 2012):Vehicles should be equipped with a first aid kit and a fire extinguisher.When a larger number of vehicles are on a run then they will be identified by tape on antenna as part of the group.If stopping along trail be considerate and allow room for others to pass if possible.
