I was reading on NSJC that you guys are thinking about just doing a quick run on part of the Range? I take it you're talking about heading up to the rock area via the trail through the "mud pit"? I was told there's some sort of study going on around there, so going up the hill could be out (if that's where you mean). I had heard about some sort of sanctuary going in there down the road, but have not heard anything about it recently. Can anyone else shed some light on this? Shaun (Coolwind1) from NSJC had said something about a study of some sort on pine beetles, but we didn't see any signs or anything about it. If there was something going on there, I guess its done.
