  6. Trail Gear heims came in, and the track bar is rebuilt and nice and tight now Also got tired of my 1st aid kit rolling around on the floor, so Walmart gave up the goods with a cheap bag. Now I'm prepared for 2x types of emergency

  9. Made a bracket for a circuit breaker and did some more tidyage
  10. Found a paint colour match...it's chevy engine orange 1640. The test on the bottom left of the tailgate to cover over a scratch is pretty close even without any prep.....drips and all Unfortunately I can only find it in gloss engine paint, but it's better than nothing.
  11. thanks bud....very therapeutic work and a satisfying outcome
  12. true true....the irony is, this work was born out of the desire to fix the fog lights, and I didn't LOL. I'd also like to reconfigure a couple of things too. 1. Zuk has 3 fans. A trans cooler fan and an engine-side radiator fan, both operated by a cabin switch on the same relay. It's loud! There is also a 2nd cold-air-side radiator fan operated by the OEM thermostat. I'd like to get both radiator fans on separate relays and operated by the thermostat. Also have all 3 fans on a kill switch. 2.Fix the fog lights LOL Things to do later However, next up is rear shocks...
  13. finished up my rewire. Just waiting on a 100A reset-able fuse to terminate the red feed wires. I'm pretty pleased with it
  14. mine were knocking around in the garage before install..plus, the little fan and heatsink was obstructed...maybe got too hot. Oh well I'm sure urs will be fine
  15. @sar4x4 just pulled the LED headlights out, as one started to be dim and flicker. Back to halogens for the foreseeable.

  17. Zuk has a suspension knock that is only noticeable when offroad.....on the club run it seemed to get a little louder. It looks like one, maybe both hiems on the track bar are toast, and being hiems there is no bushing, so I think it's transmitting the noise across the whole rig through the frame. I'll order some lifetime TMR ends soon....
  18. These are just side markers, and i like them. I want to do the turn signals next, so I'll need an led flasher module. Maybe I'll do the instrument cluster too, because half of it isn't lit due to a bulb or 2 being out.
  19. Upgraded the burnt out side marker lights to LED Started on an accessory fuse box build so I can tidy up some of the wiring that has a lot of extra left uncut. Hopefully it'll keep it away from the elements a bit better too.
  20. I know it probably doesn't legally release us of any liability, but since I'm organizing club runs, I don't want to be in a position where I'm exposed to a fine for not following rules.
  21. Heads up for club events. Until further notice, we are observing Covid-19 guidelines. The club does not have any exemptions, so please take a few seconds of your time to familiarize yourself with the guidelines. If you don't agree to adhere to the rules during a club event, then don't come. It's as simple as that. No excuses. If you have any questions please PM me directly. Thank you for your cooperation https://novascotia.ca/coronavirus/restrictions-and-guidance/#gatherings
