    Thanks.

    Youre right, it's a 1985 SJ410 which came with a 1.0 originally, and it's got a 1.6 in it now.

ive read the rad from an SJ413 will work as that was the 1.3 motor. I think all the SJ/Sami rads are physically the same.

I'll let ya know. If you can find a bigger rad that will swap in just text me and I'll look for that one too

A little trick my grandfather showed me for races is to take your old race and weld a bead full circle on the inside of it    it shrinks it just enough that it'll slide in and out easy so you can use it as a driver that'll be exactly the right size.  also helps for gettingthem out if they are being stubborn.

Smart man you grandfather is, I'll have to bank that one

@jay I have some Toy front springs that I will be getting rid of in a bit that you can have when I put my rears up front. Not sure if they will work for your application though

A couple of weeks ago I was given a free hitch for my Jeep.  The draw bar was stuck in it, and no matter what I've tried, I can't get it out.  I installed the hitch anyway, and tried hooking a strap to it and a big tree, and letting the weight of the Jeep pull on it, while I whacked it with my sledgehammer.  Guess what...  It's still in there!  I'll keep it on for now, and if it hangs up off-road, I'll take it off, and try and find someone with a press to try and press it out.

I ordered a hitch wiring harness off of Amazon, and got that installed tonight.

You can come out to my garage and use my press if you want. Ill be around all weekend

Thank you sir! It's what I was looking for, and is gonna get a lot of love.

One thing I might change IF I can find the parts, is the welded up rear.....we'll just see how long the tires last LOL

Thinking about it....I wonder if the spider gears in the yellow one would work...hmmmm

    Needs toy axles :P

What a day!! Matt and Dave came over and helped a lot today to get the remaining parts bolted in.

Once everything was installed, we had problems getting it fired up. So after checking my timing job, installing new plugs and wires, we hit a problem with the starter. We must have gone through 5 or 6 starter rebuilds before we got one that was working.

However, we were still not able to get it running properly so we stripped down the carb..still not any better. The we replaced the fuel pump and lines and it fired up much better, but not perfect - it's spitting fuel out of the intake and exhaust - so I need to dial in the fuel pressure with the new pump....but since the fuel pressure gauge isn't working, I need to pick one up.

Get me a part number and Ill look on Monday
