  1. Sounds like a nice rig to pound through the woods
  2. Ok, thanks! Back to the drawing board.
  3. Appears not. @89runner was that the same photo you uploaded from your computer / phone or did you save it from here and upload it again?
  4. Many of the GPS apps for iOS / Android will read in GPX. Some handheld GPS / standalone GPS will do it too. I used to use Motion-X GPS, but that's no longer available. Not sure what the kids use these days.
  5. Well, hopefully you stick around on the 4x4 side of things. I'd offer to show you around but my Heep is a long afterthought at this point and needs some love before I get it back out on the trails. Soon I hope.
  6. @89runner can you try uploading another one of the "upside down" photos? I tried grabbing one here, but I can't trust it as the board may have already manipulated it. I've updated the forum software and want to see if that helps.
  7. Yeah - it's hard to speed in a Jeep I did the same thing when I left sport bikes for 4x4's. I dabbled again with a car ... and then came back to 4x4's. Wranglers (especially Rubicons) are capable AF out of the box. Even the KM2's will get you pretty far to start - a better set of tires in the future will get you nearly anywhere. Good on you for seeking advice / guidance before wondering off on your own without any gear. Golden rule of 4x4 is to have gear and go with another rig (or have a buddy on speed dial).
  8. omg Custom Obsessions? I didn't realize that was still a thing! I'll check out the vid later - sounds like a sweet car. What made you move to 4x4?
  9. it's a good palette cleanser. Lots of keeping up with the joneses on FB from what I remember.
  10. I nuked my Facebook account years ago ... have thought about reopening for a couple of groups, but have never fully committed.
  11. I haven't built a model since I was a kid. I bet that would be a good passtime / brain vacation.
  12. This seems to be the answer: When you use a smartphone to take a photo it saves the orientation of the phone / photo when you take the shot - this board is "smart" enough to interpret that information and display the photo accordingly. So ... you're taking the photo upside down as far as the phone is concerned (even though the phone rotates the screen so it isn't upside down when you take the photo). I'll see if there's some mod or something now that can take care of it when uploaded (when I last looked at this years ago there was no "fix").
  13. I had a Generlink installed - L14-30 cable on generator end and Generlok (propritary) on the Generlink end. It installs inline between the meter and meterbase and then powers anything in the panel that your generator can handle.
  14. Looks really good! Unfortunate you found so much "previous work" - but you're getting through it.
  15. We were out for a little over 30 hours here too. I logged 29.5 hours on the generator. We never lost internet either. I cannot recall a time since I've had Bell Fibe that I've lost internet - that spans like 5 or more years and two different addresses. @sar4x4 what did you get for a new generator?
  16. How's everyone else doing? I've been running on generator since about 4 PM.
  17. Great question - I have no idea. It's where I got my XML's for the H2 years ago.
  18. Sweet! Where do you pick those up now? Still Joyel?
