Scott - The new login methods messed things up for me!🤷‍♂️
Until the change I could log in on my iPhone by my Face ID.  I loved it.  Now I have to put in a username and password again.  🤔

You likely just need to save the email + password on your Keychain again for Face ID to work.

  2. Edit - I've also enabled Microsoft login.

For anyone who wants to sign up or switch their login to use their Facebook, Microsoft, or Google credentials I have enabled the ability to link these account for sign in.

New accounts will be given the option to use a local account (email address), Microsoft, Facebook, or Google account to create a new user on the forums.

If you want to associate your existing Microsoft, Google, or Facebook account to login instead of your email address you can click your username in the top right corner, then click account settings, then click Microsoft, Google, or Facebook on the left side, then click the big blue or green "sign in with" button!

  3. Just caught word that the new developments at the top of Kendrick lane have closed the private property trail access to the power lines there.

I know someone that lives around there and they indicated there were people on dirtbikes braaaaping up and down the street doing wheelies, etc. so the homeowners barricaded the access.

Pics or it didn’t happen, lol.  👍

This is my current biggest regret in life ... I didn't get the phone out to take pics. I still have one stump to pull so perhaps I'll remember to get a pic / video of that action.

The full tree would have been something to watch I think - about 10 feet in diameter and about 20 - 25 feet tall. Yanked it up and over like nothing with the loose rootball.

  5. Successfully used the winch on the Jeep to yank a stump out of the ground and pull another tree into a better position to be broken down. It fell over into a bunch of other trees and yanked the root ball with it. So I righted it and then "over pulled" it so it fell the other way so that I could more easily cut it.

  6. How'd everybody do? We lost power for a couple of days - came back last night.

Six trees that I can see down - including three of the ones in our front yard which were planted over 20 years ago 😞 That's a bummer. No structural damage though so we're lucky.

  7. Actually started this thing up the other evening and put air in the tires. Front left must have dry rotted to the point of a slow leak.

Surprised it fired and the gas was any good. Ran great! Took it for a little spin around the block to get things moving. Brake calliper has not fixed itself yet.

Deck is now done and shed shelving is nearing completion to get the junk out of the garage to pull this thing in.

    Priorities ...

One of the guys at Rally running a solar business owns this, Stephen Vezina. Its a wicked truck but yeah that towing ability really kills the mileage on all the EV trucks. Also with the **** we are dealing with our Fords I probably won't buy one again

Deets on the ****? Mine is also ****. Compare notes?

For funsies - my brand new currently 8,000 km truck has been in the shop for two weeks now while they repair body damage from mis-aligned body panels and replace the transmission (although they are saying it may be the PCM, not the trans now).

Total time in shop now is well over a month since I bought it in January.

  9. Actually - I just read a review from MotorTrend that towing an 8,000 lb trailer the Lightning could only go about 90 miles. That's WELL under what was being reported when it was first being tested. It was suggested 400+ KM with a trailer and 600+ unloaded IIRC.

I will bide my time lol.

  10. Sweet!! If I wasn't having such a bad experience with Ford right now that would be my next truck. I figure in a couple of years they will 1) be more affordable and 2) be more available.

The new Silverado EV looks like an Avalanche (which I'm not a fan of) and the RAM they have been teasing looks like an El Cameno or some truck / car thing. I just want a normal pickup truck with electric motors.
