Club builds Santa Claus float for 5th year

The Backcountry 4×4 club assembled the Santa Claus float for the Spryfield (near Halifax) Christmas Parade for approximately the 5th year in a row.  The Spryfield Christmas parade is the oldest running parade in the area and possibly Eastern Canada.  This year was record breaking at 60 entries and 10,000 spectators.  A member/friend of the Backcountry club rides the big chair!  The club had only one vehicle planning to participate as well this year, (No. 61!) but a last minute memory issue by the driver caused a DNS (Did Not Start!). (Insert shamed eyes here.  It was a lack of available fuel issue…)

With the growing success of the parade and the club, next year promises to be better yet!
